Case Study:

A patient with biopsy-proven esophageal adenocarcinoma underwent a baseline FDG PET/CT at NCPIC, which revealed a 6.3 cm gastroesophageal mass with intense FDG uptake. MD Anderson recommended a one-year course of combined Yervoy and Opdivo immunotherapy. A follow-up FDG PET/CT at NCPIC showed complete resolution of the mass, indicating a complete response to immunotherapy with minimal physical side effects.
